Hi, we’re the Hub City Animal Project...
We’re on a mission to tackle the issues at the root of animal homelessness in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Through funding and collaboration, we help animal welfare groups and municipalities get the resources they need to create long-term change and reduce shelter intake in our community.
Each year, millions of pets are sent to shelters due to:
- Lack of owner’s financial resources.
- Lack of access to pet information.
- Lack of access to veterinary care, including spay and neuter.
- Any circumstance which may compromise animal welfare and threaten the pet-owner relationship, such as divorce, foreclosure, death, lack of pet identification, or minor pet behavioral problems.
